To Sa Pa

If you are short of time the best way to see Sa Pa is to travel by and sleep on the train. However, if you do have the time to see something more of the north of the country then a gentle week away exploring less frequented roads provides an ideal alternative

Sa Pa is one of the most popular destinations for travellers in the north of Vietnam. You can choose from many agencies and travel there by train and mini bus. Two houses But there is only one Jade Monkey taking you there by rural routes and showing you a range of beautiful country on your journey. Our Jeep lets you take tracks that motorbikes find rough going, in this way you can come to communities that hardly ever see tourists and welcome them the more. We set out through the gentle Viet Bac countryside to the north of Ha Noi to spend the first night at Viet Quang from where we take jungle tracks and climb high passes letting you see how the Jeep, not only smooths potholed roads, but gives Two housesyou access to remote places that cars cannot reach. We descend to Bac Ha for its market and continue by way of Lao Cai on the Chinese border to Sa Pa where we spend two nights and a day visiting local villages and exploring as you wish. From Sa Pa we continue (weather permitting) with a view of south east Asia's highest mountain - Phang Xi Pang - and then turn south to wind our way Two houses through the delightful Nam Kim valley and spend the last night at Nghia Lo before returning to Ha Noi to complete the circle.
